Julia Cumming is the latest rock’n’roll It girl to be handpicked by Hedi Slimane as the face of Yves Saint Laurent. The Brooklyn based teen was snapped up by Slimane and made her runway debut on the Yves Saint Laurent SS15 runway. Lots of kohl eyeliner, platinum bed hair, and a distinctly ‘I don’t give a f*ck’ attitude make Cumming a perfect fit amongst Slimane’s lengthy list of muses, including Amy Winehouse and Lou Reed.

When Cumming isn’t storming down the catwalk, she plays bass in her band Sunflower Bean. In an interview with Style, Cumming said, “Music is my whole life,” and revealed her go-to soundtrack for this summer. Listen below:
